The Great Blue Hole is a massive underwater sinkhole off the coast of Belize located about 60 miles away from Belize City. With an almost perfectly circular hole, The Great Blue Hole is about 125 meters deep and its diameter is about 300 meters wide. It is one of the most astonishing dive sites to be found anywhere on earth.

Just how do you see the Blue Hole when in Belize?

You can see The Blue Hole either by Sea or Air. Go Scuba diving or Snorkeling by boat from San Pedro, Caye Caulker and other locations. By air, you have the choice of taking a helicopter or a small plane. Diving and a flyover of the Blue Hole can be done from Placencia Village.
